Successful Learning Outcomes

We aim to support the learning progress of students. Curriculum planning and professional learning are centred on building deep and engaged student learning for improved learning outcomes, supported by a rich ICT environment and incorporating the AusVELS, VCE, VET and VCAL programs.
At Years 7 to 10, students are engaged in studies in the eight Domain areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, The Arts, Health and Physical Education, Languages (Italian and Japanese) and Technology (ICT, Design and Systems).  In addition, students are engaged in interdisciplinary learning which is addressed in appropriate Domain areas.  These interdisciplinary learning standards include Personal Learning, Communication, Interpersonal Learning and Thinking.
Students study a common and compulsory curriculum in Years 7 and 8. From Year 9, students make selections for some of their learning program.
