NDC Sport Update

As we kick off Term 4, Week 1, it’s been an exciting start to the term with our students achieving outstanding results across multiple sports. From the soccer field to the tennis court, Emmanuel athletes continue to display teamwork, dedication, and pride in representing our school. A huge congratulations to our Senior Girls Soccer team for their fantastic season! In the Player of the Series awards, Lael Mbula placed 2nd and Isabella Joveska placed 3rd an incredible reflection of their skill, effort, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Our students dominated the SACCSS Junior Badminton Tournament, coming home with multiple wins. We proudly claimed Championship titles in Boys Doubles A, Girls Doubles A, Girls Doubles B, and Girls Doubles D. Congratulations to all players on an exceptional team performance. At the recent SACCSS Athletics Carnival, both our Junior and Senior Girls put on impressive displays. The Junior Girls finished 2nd in their division, while the Senior Girls placed 3rd. A special shoutout goes to Lucy Cleveland, who was crowned Individual Senior Girls Champion an amazing achievement. Our Emmanuel Junior Tennis Team represented us proudly at the SACCSS Junior Tennis Competition at Hume Tennis Club, competing against twelve other schools. While we didn’t bring home gold this time, the team’s energy and attitude were outstanding. Ashna won three of her singles matches, Kiran narrowly missed out in a few close games, and Sisika, Ruth, Kobe, and Isaac all secured strong wins, bringing great spirit to the court. A big thank you to Jo and Bec (SACCSS) for organising another successful day.                  

Upcoming Events: Looking ahead, our students have more exciting opportunities to get involved in Term 4 sport, including: Girls Cricket Blast, Inter Tennis, Junior Futsal, Junior Hockey. We look forward to seeing more fantastic performances as the term continues well done to everyone!!
