G.I.R.L. Crew - Our Patch Initiative

Emmanuel College and Our Patch (OSHC provider) have joined forces to offer after school activities for girls in Grades 4 and 5 during 2022. In Term 2 the activities will be;

Tuesday – Dance

Page has been a part of the Dance world for 32 years and her dance styles include: Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Lyrical. Page holds a full Teaching Diploma in both Tap and Modern Jazz (including Contemporary and Lyrical Jazz) as well as Teaching Certificates in Classical Ballet and Theatrical. Page’s passion for dance inspires her to guide her dancers to be the very best they can be.

Thursday – Art

Tania is a practicing Artist/Sculptor who prefers to work in the medium of clay. She has been teaching at Notre Dame Campus, since its opening 14 years ago, and has taught throughout Victoria during the past 20 years. She has had numerous exhibitions of her work and continues to inspire the conceptual development of students in our local area. Tania has worked with a wide range of 2D and 3D materials. Her experiences include, but not limited to; clay, plaster, epoxy resin, linocut, painting, drawing, Adobe, etching textiles and filmmaking.

Activity Information

Activities will run between 4pm – 5pm. Students will be collected from their primary school on the Emmanuel College bus. Parents will need to collect students from Emmanuel – Notre Dame Campus (Dunnings Road Carpark) after the sessions. There will be 5 sessions in Term 2.

The first session for each class will be online. Zoom links will be sent following registration and prior to Session 1.

Dance will commence on Tuesday 17 May with the final class on Tuesday 14 June.

Art will commence on Thursday 19 May with the final session on Thursday 16 June.

Please wear your PE uniform or bring a set of clothes to change into. Specific dance wear is not required.

Students should bring a healthy snack and drink.

All sessions are free of charge.
