As a college community, we mourn the sad passing of Emilia Baquero.

Emilia attended the Notre Dame Campus from 2018-2023 and was known as a positive and motivated student.

In 2024, Emilia returned to Emmanuel College as a member of the HPE and Sports Department staff at NDC, where she made a positive and lasting contribution on the lives of many.

We remember Emilia as a deeply valued member of the College community, known for her positive energy, generosity of spirit, and a great passion and competitive nature for football. Her impact as a student and staff member will be lasting as will the love she shared and joy she brought.

We hold Emilia's family, friends and colleagues in our thoughts and prayers, and carry her legacy with us as a reminder of kindness and courage. Her light shone brightly, and her absence is deeply felt. Emilia will be forever missed.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
