We wish all the best to SPC Year 12 student Noah Abboud, who will be competing at the WorldSkills National Championships this weekend. Noah will be competing in the VETIS carpentry competition, against eight
other students from around the country, which runs over three days from Friday to Sunday.

Competitors will have a total of eighteen hours to construct a hexagonal garden arbour/seat, including drawing the project and building it using various hand and power tools.

Entry is free to spectators - there are another fifty competitions taking place in various vocations and trades over the weekend, plus a careers expo, so there's lots to see.
